A little viral that we just made for Nataraj Pencils.
The Myster General team have just been commissioned to shoot a music promo for the awesome London ska/rock outfit Imperial Leisure. Not only do we think that they rock very hard but the video is set to rock almost as hard or to rock with the exact same hardness as they do. Shooting this weekend, we are very exited about the videos treatment and can’t wait for the bands new album due out early next year. We are making the video in association with 3angrymen productions.

Once again, sorry it has taken so long, we have been busy winning awards, writing our first feature film and watching the Open Mic pilot on our own in a dark room. We have to charge the small amount of £3 on the door to cover bar staff, I’m sure you can manage that :)

P.S. hooches for a pound and wonderbras get in free
One of my favourite bands “The Dogbones” have just released their debut album so I thought I would post the music video I directed for them a few months back. We shot this whole thing on them mini Samsung flip style cameras and mounted them all over the place, cymbols, guitars, vince’s arm, on the end of Nomi’s microphone. I pretty much just sat back and shouted direction at them while I watched them film themselves. With the help of Ossie Bacon (Myster General DoP) I think it turned out rather splendid. We got some really positive feedback, just shows ya you don’t have to have a £10,000 camera to make something look rocking.
If you like the song then check out the album, just search iTunes for “The Dogbones”

The pilot to the sitcom we made is having a premiere in early Dec, here is the teaser trailer and the synopsis
Open Mic is a new sitcom based around the lives of two stand-up comedians and their daily struggle with love, laughter, money and depression.
James and Scott’s one shared goal, to become professional stand-up comedians proves more difficult than they first realised. James appears to have no troubles in the world but is secretly insecure about his comedy act and his social encounters with girls usually end in awkward silences. After being on the circuit for a year he thinks that if it’s going to happen, it will, but he refuses to become obsessed with success. Scott however, being a newcomer does not quite understand what it takes to get to the top and longs for quick success. After he quits his job and splits up with his long-term girlfriend, comedy is the only thing he has left, that, and James.
